The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) hailed this as a historic achievement and congratulated Cordova on her successful debut, which featured an impressive 4-1 victory against Wagiya FC on Saturday, January 18th.

The Island League Football Tournament crowned a new champion at the Ambergris Stadium on Saturday, January 11th. The final match of the local tournament had both teams and their fans on edge, as the regulation 90 minutes were not enough to determine a winner. It took an additional 30 minutes of overtime and penalty kicks for Sharks FC to secure a hard-fought victory over Sea Bulls FC.

The basketball court at Boca del Rio Beach Park has been fully renovated, thanks to a partnership between Will Mitchell, RE/MAX Belize Real Estate, and the San Pedro Town Council (SPTC). San Pedro High School girls’ basketball team crowned 2024 NSSSA champions
The female basketball team of San Pedro High School (SPHS) has won the national basketball championship organized by the National Secondary Schools Sports Association (NSSSA). The school administration is celebrating this achievement, as it marks the third national championship title for the San Pedro girls. They first became national champions in 2017 and won again in 2019.
