San Pedro Pirates F.C advance to PLB 2019-2020 Opening Season Semifinals
For their last match in the regular series of the Premiere League of Belize (PLB) 2019-2020 Opening Season, San Pedro Pirates F.C hosted Wagiya Sporting Club at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town on Saturday, November 9th. Despite a 2-2 draw against Wagiya, the island team still managed to claim one of the conveted spaces in the PLB semifinals.

Legends F.C. conquers Copa San Pedro 2019
A new Copa San Pedro Champion was crowned on Sunday, November 10th at the Ambergris Stadium. Legends F.C. claimed the coveted sporting title after overcoming Captain G’s F.C, who went into the pitch with a three-goal disadvantage in the aggregate score board.

Copa San Pedro rolls into finals
The grand finale of the Copa San Pedro Football Tournament is coming to an end, with upcoming games for third, second and first place. The first round of games will take place on Thursday, November 7th, with a second and final set of matches on Sunday, November 10th at the Ambergris Stadium. San Pedrito Scorpions and Terror Squad will compete for third place, while Legends and Captain G’s will battle for the championship of the tournament.

In their 13th week of the PLB 2019 Opening Season, the San Pedro Pirates secured a 3-1 win over the BDF and retain their 3rd place spot on the charts.

San Pedro Pirates in 3rd place position on the PLB charts
With a no show from FF Valley Pride F.C, San Pedro Pirates F.C automatically received three points and moved to the third place position of the Premiere League of Belize (PLB) chart with 19 points overall. The game was scheduled to be held at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town at 7:30PM, but FF Valley Pride didn’t show up, and the Pirates received victory points.

SPJC hosts 5k Run for Education
To raise funds to purchase school supplies and teaching aids for teachers, San Pedro Junior College (SPJC) hosted a 5k Run for Education on Saturday, October 26th. The race saw the participation of 29 runners raising awareness of the importance of teachers and extending appreciation for them throughout the island.

San Pedro Invaders lose 5-0 against Verdes Rebels F.C
For their second match in the 2019 National Amateur Women’s League (NAWL) Football Tournament Opening Season, San Pedro Invaders travelled to San Ignacio to go against Verdes Rebels F.C. Held at the Norman Broaster Stadium on Sunday, October 27th the match saw Verdes Rebels claiming a clear victory over the island girl’s team.
