Two San Pedro Pirates F.C players drafted to be part of Belize’s Male National Team
The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) has drafted a selection of players for the Belize National Football Team to represent the country at The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Nations League matches in September 2019. Among the selection of players are two players from San Pedro’s very own semi-pro team, San Pedro Pirates F.C. They are Jesse Smith and Asrel Sutherland.

For their third match in the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) Youth Inter-District Football Tournament, San Pedro’s Under-15 (U-15) and Under-17(U-17) team traveled to Belmopan City on Saturday, June 15th. Both island teams went against Belmopan teams and lost their respective matches.

With their loss against Barrack Road F.C on Sunday, June 16th Los Catrachos F.C’s run in the National Amateur League Championship (NALC) has come to an end. The second round of the NALC Quarterfinals was a crucial match for the island team, as they had to win in order to advance to the semifinals.

To commemorate Father’s Day, a Female Quadrangular Football Tournament was held at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town on Sunday, June 16th. The football tournament saw the participation of Golden Warriors, San Pedro High School, Revolution, and Damitas Strikers.
