San Pedro Tiger Shark’s second home game was a crushing blow as they fell to the Verdes 87-62 on Sunday, March 17th. This loss sees the island team sliding down the tournament ladder from first to fifth place.

Ambergris Caye’s First Half Marathon and 10k run to be held on April 6th
The event is being organized by the Alaia Charity Foundation, who seek to provide financial, educational, medical and environmental support with the net-proceeds from the event to disenfranchised island families.

Martin Dawson hosts first MMA seminar of the year; hints of a May 2019 tournament on the island
The event was organized by island MMA fighter and instructor, Martin Dawson, who along with Morales coached participants on combat Jiu-Jitsu, and self-defence techniques.
