Miss Earth 2021 asks San Pedranos to take care of their natural resources

After being crowned with the prestigious title, Miss Earth 2021, Belizean Destiny Wagner, 25, is home. The Belizean queen plans to visit various areas in the country, including San Pedro Town. Knowing the island’s sensitive surroundings, Wagner is asking San Pedranos to protect and preserve their natural resources.

BTB Launches Belizean Traveler Campaign to Boost Domestic Tourism

On May 14th, 2021, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) launched its Belizean Traveller Campaign – the organization’s signature event that aims to boost domestic tourism by encouraging Belizeans to be tourists in their own country.

To encourage domestic tourism in the country, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB), for the fourth consecutive time, launched its ‘Belizean Traveller' campaign on Thursday, August 15th in Belize City. The project is a joint venture with the Belize Hotel Association (BHA), and aims to allow Belizeans to be tourists in their country via attractive discounts at top hotels.

The BTB and BHA award scholarships to ten outstanding Belizean students

Ten outstanding Belizean students received scholarship awards from the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) and the Belize Hotel Association (BHA) during a joint award ceremony held at the Biltmore Plaza Hotel in Belize City on Wednesday, August 14th.
