MMA 501 Fight Night II: The Rising takes place tomorrow in San Pedro
On Thursday, February 23rd, a press conference occurred at the Sandbar Beachfront Hostel and Restaurant to formally present the second edition of the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) tournament on the island- 501 Fight Night II, now dubbed “The Rising.” The event is on Saturday, February 25th, at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. Access to the venue starts at 6PM.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) came to San Pedro Town on Saturday, September 10th, with 501 Fight Night I: Genesis held at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. The event elated MMA fans with nine fights culminating with a title match in which San Pedro’s Bryce Peterson emerged victorious.

For the first time since the height of the pandemic, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye will be the venue for a spectacular Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight night dubbed 501 Fight Night I: Genesis. The event will take place on the patriotic anniversary of the Battle of St. George’s Caye on September 10th at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. Doors will open at 5PM for a night of adrenaline with eight different fights.

Bryce Peterson represents Belize at US MMA tournament
Island Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Bryce Peterson is back in Belize after representing the country at the PFC16 tournament hosted by Peak Fighting in Texarkana, Arkansas, USA, on October 23rd. Peterson fought in the Bantamweight bout against Zeke Wilson, giving his all through three solid rounds.
