San Pedro Town gets 13 new Tourism Police Officers, donated vehicles and essential items

To make San Pedro Town safer for visitors and residents alike, the Belize Police Department added 13 new constables to the island’s Tourism Police Unit (TPU) on Wednesday, August 14th at an official ceremony held at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium. They will join the current four tourism officers in San Pedro, bringing the number to a total of 17.

Noble brings to the Cayes 27 years of seniority in the police department and is confident that with the support of the community, the local police formation will deliver, making the islands safer at a time when crime is on the rise.

Danillo Villatoro to be arraigned in Belize City for the murder of Corporal Alfonso Guy

After being charged for the death of 51-year-old police Corporal #780 Alfonso Guy, 25-year-old Danilo Villatoro was transported to Belize City on Monday, January 14th, where he will be arraigned for the crime of murder at the Belize City Magistrate Court.
