Fire truck for San Pedro Town arrives in Belize

Acquired in the United States of America (USA), through the efforts of the Rotary Club of Ambergris Caye, the fire truck came aboard a U.S Airforce C-17 Globemaster aircraft shortly after 2PM. Arrangements are now being made to transport the truck to the island, where it is expected to be delivered to the San Pedro Fire Department in a week or two.

After arriving in Belize City three weeks ago, a fire truck that was donated to the Caye Caulker Fire Department finally arrived on La Isla Cariñosa on Wednesday, November 22nd.
