In accordance with Article 8 of the Cotonou Agreement, Belize and the European Union held their annual political dialogue on September 20, 2022, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize. Belize's delegation was headed by Hon. Mexico’s President’s official visit: Mexico and Belize sign agreements on agriculture, trade, and tourism

On Saturday, May 7th, Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador made an official visit to Belize. His visit to the Jewel was short, but he managed to accomplish the penning of several agreements after meeting with Prime Minister Honourable Dr. John Briceño. The encounter between the two leaders sealed agreements on agricultural development, trade, and tourism.

Belize and Mexico Hold Ministerial Meeting to Discuss Formal Trade Agreement

On February 2, 2022, Belize and Mexico met virtually to advance discussions for a trade agreement between the two countries. Belize's delegation was led by the Hon.
