National Defence Minister Meets with New Mexican Military Attaché to Belize

Hon. Florencio Marin, Jr., Minister of National Defence and Border Security, received a courtesy visit on October 15, 2021, from Colonel DEM Pedro Mandujano Balbuena, the newly appointed Mexican Military and Air Attaché accredited to the Mexican Embassy in Belize.

Ministries of Youth and National Defence Collaborate for Youth Development

This collaboration will allow both ministries to capitalize on strengths to better serve the youth of Belize. The goal is to improve youth development in the country and transform the youth institution into a central regional youth training institute.

Hon. Florencio Marin, Minister of National Defence and Border Security received a courtesy visit from Guatemala’s Ambassador to Belize, H.E. Edwin Rudy Archila Falla, at the Curl Thompson Building, Belmopan.

Ministry of National Defence and Border Security Meets with San Vicente Alcalde and Village Council

Hon. Florencio Marin, Minister of National Defence and Border Security, and Hon. Oscar Mira, Minister of State, visited San Vincente, Toledo District to meet with the village council. The purpose of the meeting was to address the issue between the Belize Defence Force (BDF) soldiers stationed in the village, following an incident which occurred on November 29, 2020.
