Good Governance Officer Attends the International Anti-Corruption Conference 2022

Mr. Leon Dawson, Good Governance Officer in the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform and Religious Affairs, is attending the 2022 International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in Washington, DC. The event is being held under the theme “Uprooting Corruption, Defending Democratic Values.”

Onboarding Handbook Training for Public Officers

The Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform and Religious Affairs hosted a three-day training workshop for administrative officers and administrative assistants, which introduced an Onboarding Handbook for the Belize Public Service.

Senior management staff of The Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform and Religious Affairs, along with some staff from other ministries, commenced a two-day Emotional Intelligence Seminar.

Remarketing of the Employee Assistance Programme

The month of May marks the celebration of World Mental Health Day. This year, it is celebrated under the theme, “Mental Health for all. Greater investment ─ Greater Access. Everyone, everywhere.” To this end, the Ministry of Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform, and Religious Affairs announces the remarketing of its Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).

Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform and Religious Affairs Signs MOU with the University of Belize

The cooperation will include sharing UB’s Learning Management System Platform that will offer induction and other in-service and professional courses to public officers. It will also provide an exchange of programs and interventions to be potentially utilized by either institution.

Government of Belize Signs First-Ever Grievance Procedure Manual

On February 22, 2022, Mr. Rolando Zetina, CEO in the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform, and Religious Affairs; Mrs. Sharon Frazer, President of the Association of Public Service Senior Managers; and Mr. Dean Flowers, President of the Public Service of Belize, signed the first-ever Grievance Procedure Manual.
