Miss San Pedro Faith Edgar spearheads Cruise for a Cause to help the needy in San Pedro

The island's beauty ambassador, Miss San Pedro 2022-2023 Faith Edgar, has embarked on a project called 'Cruise for a Cause,' raising funds to help those in need. Edgar has partnered with X-Site Belize Sailing & Adventures to host the charitable sailing trip at least once a month. All proceeds from the sailing trip are donated to a person or family from San Pedro Town who need urgent assistance.

San Pedranos usher in Belize’s 41st Independence anniversary with flag raising ceremony and Caribbean entertainment

As the clock ticked closer to midnight on Tuesday, September 20th, the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex in San Pedro Town started filling up with islanders for the traditional pre-independence program. This year, Belize celebrates its 41st Independence Day, and revelers on the island brought in the special celebration with patriotism and Caribbean entertainment with the Trinidadians DJ Ana and Ultra Simmo.
