Caye Caulker businessman robbed of his licensed firearm in Belize City
A trip to Belize City did not end well for Caye Caulker businessman 59-year-old Mauro Benito Bevans. While walking towards the center of the city, he was held up by a pair of thieves who took his licensed black and silver Ruger .9mm pistol, which he had tucked in the waist of his pants.

Although police have been diligently monitoring illegal activities several miles north of San Pedro Town, a handful of tourists feel prey to armed thieves yesterday and were robbed of personal belongings at gunpoint.

After appearing at the San Pedro Magistrate Court on Tuesday, May 22nd, Perez, Brown and Gentle were granted and met bail. They were released, and are scheduled to return to court on June 25, 2018.
