San Pedro Belize Express Clarifies Viral Video Showing Standing Passengers
On June 23rd, San Pedro Belize Express (SPBE) Water Taxi addressed a video circulating on social media showing passengers standing aboard one of their vessels. The company clarified that the vessel in question was a double-deck boat, and due to unexpected rainfall, passengers from the upper deck moved to the lower deck to seek shelter. SPBE said this led to a temporary crowding situation on the lower level.

On Monday, January 6th, San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi celebrated the grand opening of its newly constructed facility on Coconut Drive, marking a significant milestone in its operations. Since shortly after Hurricane Earl in August 2016, the water taxi service has been based at the municipal dock in front of Central Park, establishing itself as a key transportation hub for travel to and from San Pedro.

San Pedro’s first International Music and Food Festival this weekend; boat tickets deals offered
This weekend, Saturday, July 30th, and Sunday, July 31st, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, will host the Belize International Music and Food Festival, the first of its kind. It will take place at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Complex, Saca Chispas. The festival will include the best of Belizean and international cuisine and an impressive line-up of local and international musical artists.
