San Pedro Lions Club attends the Istmania Lions Convention in El Salvador
From May 23rd to the 25th, the San Pedro Lions Club, along with the Belize City and Belmopan clubs attended the 83rd Annual Lions Istmania Convention held in San Salvador, El Salvador. The Belizean delegation, which forms the Belize Lions Zone 59, was led by its Chairman, Lion Nigel Belisle, and accompanied by the zone's queen, Rebecca Paredes.

Mobile Health Clinic serves residents in northern Ambergris Caye
To promote healthy lifestyles on the island, Area Representative Honourable Andre Perez, the San Pedro Town Council, and partners organized a Mobile Health Clinic on Saturday, May 4th, in northern Ambergris Caye. Held ten miles north of San Pedro Town, residents in the area received information on leading a healthy lifestyle, wellness screenings and evaluations, and free consultations with medical specialists.

San Pedro Lions celebrate 45th annual convention in the Capital City
From Friday, April 19th through Sunday, April 21st, Lions and Leos of the Lions Zone 59 attended the 45th annual National Convention in the Capital City of Belmopan. The San Pedro Lions Club participated in the event highlighting Lionism. The three-day convention included official ceremonies with dignitaries and special guests attending the award ceremony at the end of the convention.

Karissa Vasquez crowned as San Pedro Lions Club’s new queen
Miss San Pedro Lions 2024-2025 Karissa Vasquez was crowned on Thursday, April 18th. In a brief session held at their Lions Den on Barrier Reef Drive, Vasquez gracefully accepted the crown from outgoing queen Krystal Navarrete.

San Pedro Lions Club Childhood Cancer Day walk features a little survivor
The San Pedro Lions Club observed the International Childhood Cancer Day with an awareness walk through downtown San Pedro. This was the first time the local club hosted the activity, highlighting a young warrior who survived the life-threatening disease.

Office of Area Representative Hon. Andre Perez donates wheelchairs to San Pedro Lions Club
Area Representative for Belize Rural South (BRS) (Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker), Honourable Andre Perez, donated several wheelchairs to San Pedro Lions Club members. The handing over of the wheelchairs took place on Wednesday, January 24th, at the BRS office on Coconut Drive.
