Referee Ever Corado attacked in-field during football tournament in San Pedro Town
On Sunday, November 4th, during a semifinal game of the 2018 Copa San Pedro Football Tournament, 29-year-old Referee Ever Corado was punched in the forehead by 20-year-old player Ashton Lopez of San Mateo F.C, after the referee issued a red card to San Mateo F.C goalkeeper Kia Zetina.

The San Pedro Sports Committee's 9-A-Side Football tournament has ended after 7 weeks of play. Three champions were awarded trophies on Sunday, May 27th.

9-A-Side Football tournament heads to semifinals for U-15 and Female category; San Pedro Pirates champions of the U-13
The second round of semifinals will be played on Sunday, May 20th, starting at 5PM. All islanders are invited to come out to the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town to support their favorite team during the semifinals.

Three weeks of the 9-a-side Football Tournament were completed this past weekend at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town. With the first round of the matches being played on Friday, May 4th.

9- A-Side Football Tournament continues
During the second week of the tournament, seven matches were played in three different categories, which include: Under-13 (U-13), Under-15 (U-15) and the female category.
