Belize City, Belize – September 28, 2016 – The Belize Tourism Board is excited to announce that Belize has received four (4) nominations in the World Travel Awards’ World Category.

Ambergris Caye
Voting has officially opened and will conclude on October 24, 2016. We are encouraging everyone to go to www.worldtravelawards.com, register your email address and cast your votes for Belize. Travel Industry voters may apply to upgrade their account, after which their vote is equivalent to two votes.
In July, we announced that Ambergris Caye was named Mexico & Central America’s Leading Destination for the second year in a row. We now have the opportunity to take home four World category wins. These are categories that have previously been won by the Maldives, Dubai, Zanzibar, and Ecuador, respectively.
