With the many tours offered on the island showcasing the east of Ambergris Caye with emphasis on our ever-gorgeous Barrier Reef; the new mangrove tours now offered by ACES (American Crocodile Education Sanctuary) are certain to be a welcomed change of pace.
Onboard the comfortable 20’ Carolina Skiff, appropriately named The Swamp Thing, guests are invited to explore the west side of San Pedro on two different daily tours. The first is a “Sunset Mangrove Lagoon Cruise” that includes complimentary rum “Crocoladas” which are a tasty concoction created by ACES Animal Behaviorist and Croc Wrangler Vince Rose.
