We sat astride powerful, rumbling, roaring machines, driving through the rougher North Ambergris Caye roads. Flying past us were the beautiful homes and gardens “up north”, and in the horizon, an endless stretch of blue peeked here and there. In our power were four ATV’s that were taking us up to Rocky Point, where the reef meets the land.

Leading the pack of whizzing vehicles was William Rendon, owner of the small tour company called Jungle Water Adventures. For nearly four years, young Belizean entrepreneur William has been offering a variety of tours that include snorkeling, diving and of course, mainland cruises/visits to the Maya ruins, Belize’s caves and of course, the jungle favorite: ziplining.
