In the second in our series to promote “The Year of the Mayas – 2012”, The San Pedro Sun and Searious Adventures teamed up to bring to our readers the Maya Archeological Site; Lamanai.

Our journey to experience this ancient, most interesting site commenced at 7AM. Following a night of San Pedro fun, it took a little time for us to get into the spirit of our journey into the past, but once we got on the waters and the trip started, the rest of the day was smooth sailing. The day was bright and sunny with spots of white clouds dotting the clear blue skies.
