Hard Rain floods Central Park area

The downpour has been almost non-stop all morning, and around 12:30pm, these pictures were taken from Heritage Bank on Barrier Reef Drive. Water was seen rising up the steps, and golf carts and vehicles splashed water every which way as they tried to navigate the flooded streets.

The forecast calls for “Gradual improvement in weather conditions on the way.” Thursday’s forecast:”A few showers or thunderstorms.” and Friday “Isolated showers/thunderstorms” Winds are expected to go from 20knots to 15knots for the next two days.
