On March 12, 2021, Hon. Michel Chebat, Minister of Health and Wellness, received his first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine at the Western Regional Hospital Flu Clinic.

The latest official statistics from the Minister of Health and Wellness indicate a low presence of the COVID-19 virus in the country, with a total of 65 active cases nationwide. Meanwhile, in San Pedro Town, only one active case is reported. The ill person is said to be a visitor who continues in isolation and stable health.
