Team Gladiators and Crushers emerged as the top performers following the fourth week of softball action in San Pedro Town. The games were held at the Honorable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Arena on Sunday, March 15th, attracting a steady crowd of supporters who gathered to cheer for their favourite teams.

Annual San Pedro Softball Tournament Returns
The San Pedro Town Council Sports officially launched its highly anticipated annual softball tournament on Sunday, February 22nd, at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex. The tournament, featuring weekly Sunday games, opened with two competitive matchups among Marlins, RE/MAX, Crushers, and San Pedro High School (SPHS) Sharks.

The Mayor’s Co-ed Softball Cup heading to semi-finals
The Mayors Co-ed Cup Softball Tournament had another week of games and is heading into the semi-finals. The games occurred on Sunday, May 19th, at 10:00 AM at the Honourable Louis "Cuz" Sylvestre Sporting Arena. Councilor Adaly Ayuso and the San Pedro Town Council Sports Committee organize the competition to promote athletes' participation on and off the island.

Mayor’s Co-Ed Softball Cup continues with fun games on Sundays
The second round of the Mayor’s Co-Ed Softball Cup occurred on Sunday, April 28th at 10AM at the Honourable Louis “Cuz” Sylvestre Sporting Arena. The tournament aims to promote softball and prepare athletes to compete on and off the island. Councilor Adaly Ayuso and her San Pedro Town Council Sports Committee team lead the competition.

Conquerors FC take the Island League championship
On Saturday, January 27th, Conquerors Football Club (FC) became champions of the Island League tournament after defeating Terror Squad FC 1-0. Organized by the San Pedro Town Council Sports and held at the Ambergris Stadium, the final match saw a packed venue of football fans eager to see the new tournament champion.

SPHS Sharks win 3rd place at NSSSA volleyball championships
The San Pedro High School Sharks won 3rd place at the National Secondary Schools Sports Association (NSSSA) volleyball championship organized the tournament, hosted by the Belize Rural High School at the Multi-purpose Complex in Orange Walk Town last Friday and Saturday, November 9-10.
