MOHW vaccination app ready to use; take your COVID-19 records anywhere you go

The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) announced on Tuesday, November 30th that its Health Pass App is now ready. The application is available for download at the app store and users can review their COVID-19 vaccination records by the input of basic information such as Social Security or Belize Health Information System (BHIS) numbers. In the case someone is unable to access their records they can text, call, or Whatsapp 669-8843 or 613-1096.

PAHO/WHO Belize donate PPEs to the Belize Tourism Board to support COVID-19 Infection, Prevention, & Control measures for micro and small enterprises

To support Infection, Prevention and Control (IPC) measures in the workplace especially during COVID-19, the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) donated several Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Belize Tourism Board (BTB).

10PM curfew goes into effect tonight, November 22nd

As per the announcement from the Minister of Health and Wellness, the Honourable Michel Chebat, as of today, Monday, November 22nd, the COVID-19 curfew will start at 10PM. The new 10PM-4AM curfew is in effect Sundays through Thursdays, and on Fridays and Saturdays, the curfew will start 11PM.

PAHO/WHO Belize donate IT equipment to strengthen Belize’s COVID-19 data collection and emergency health response to the Ministry of Health and Wellness

To strengthen Belize’s data collection and health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) donated 50 tablets to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW) for its vaccinators. These are in addition to the laptops, tablets, printers and wireless routers previously donated to the MoHW earlier in June for the country’s Immunization Information System (IIS).

The United States Donates an Additional 117,000 Pfizer Vaccines to Belize

U.S. Embassy Belmopan is pleased to announce the arrival of 117,000 Pfizer vaccines in Belize. This U.S. government contribution to Belize’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic is in addition to the 111,150 vaccine doses donated in August. The United States is committed to sharing vaccines globally, saving lives, and putting an end to the pandemic.
