Anchors Away with the Island Academy Beach BBQ FUNdraiser

On Sunday May 6th Caribbean Villas Resort was overtaken by students, parents and friends of the Island Academy for their Anchors Away Beach BBQ and Sailing Regatta. The event was a huge success as tons of kids and families spent a day on the beach, playing, eating, sailing and having a wonderful time.  The BBQ was a fundraiser to help with Island Academy’s annual textbook order.

The Island Academy offers many many thanks to helpers and gift prize sponsors at Sunday’s “Anchors Away with The Island Academy Beach BBQ FUNdraiser“.  A great time was had by all at Caribbean Villas Resort with the excitement of the San Pedro Youth Sailing Program in the water.  Kids and adults played many games and ate delicious food.   Lucky winners earned gifts from Heaven’s Hair and Nails, Leslie’s Salon, Asian Garden Spa, Train Station Gym, Lynn’s Boutique, Lelo’s Taxi #9, Island Adventures Golf Carts, SEArious Adventures, El Pescador’s Under da Sea Tours, Hugh Parkey’s Dive Connection, SEAduced by Belize, El Pescador Fishing Lodge and Resort, Changes in Latitudes Bed & Breakfast, Tony’s Deli, Castillo’s Hardware, Bowen and Bowen Ltd., Caye Mart, Coco Loco’s Beach Bar, Fido’s Restaurant and Bar, Elvi’s Kitchen, Antojito’s Restaurant San Telmo, Molly Malone’s Pub, DandE’s Frozen Custard, The Snack Shack, Ms. Rosalba’s Hot Lunch, Roadkill Bar, Mariano’s Arcade, Estel’s by the Sea, and Ocean Essence Day Spa.
