CDB, UK to improve safety and climate resilience along arterial road on Belize’s east coast
The Governments of Belize and the United Kingdom and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) on February 24th launched the Coastal Highway Upgrading in La Democracia, Belize. The current unpaved roadway traverses mostly low-lying terrain and has poor drainage, making it impassable at certain times of the year. Climate change is exacerbating the risk of flooding in the area.

IX Meeting of the Belize-Mexico Mixed Commission on Technical and Scientific Cooperation
The Meeting was held within the framework of the Basic Agreement for Technical and Scientific Cooperation between Mexico and Belize signed in Mexico City on November 23, 1995.
