National Police Statistics register a decrease in major crime during the first three months of 2019
The results show major crimes like murder, robbery, burglary, theft and carnal knowledge have decreased in the first months of 2019, in comparison with the same time frame in 2018. The statistics also look at the crime activity during the past three months in different areas of the country and a comparison of crime per 100,000 habitants for the same period in 2018 and 2019.

2017 Police Statistics show a decrease in major crimes countrywide
Figures show that while major crimes experienced a decrease of 6.8% countrywide, there was an increase in homicides. Overall, 1,992 crimes were reported to the police department across the country. San Pedro Town recorded a total of 100 major crimes, with a decrease of 38%, compared to 2016.
