The $1.256 billion proposed budget highlights the country’s external deficit, debts, and optimism in the growth of the economy. No new taxes were introduced. On Wednesday, October 3rd the Prime Minister of Belize Right Honorable Dean Barrow, with the approval and support of the Cabinet announced that the Hemodialysis program is being expanded to cover more than twice the number of patients at end-stage renal failure.
