Breaking News: General Election date to be announced today

The General Election date will be announced today and will be held simultaneously with the Municipal Elections, March 7th, stated Belmopan based Plus Television. According to the report, Prime Minister Barrow is set to make the announcement at 2:PM at the Biltmore Plaza Hotel.

PM Barrow is meeting with all 31 UDP Standard Bearers following Cabinet meeting in Belmopan this morning. PM Barrow is also expected to deliver a pre-recorded statement to the nation later today.
