Monday, October 24th, 2016
Belize Yellow Pages hosted their signature Global Digital Marketing Conference in San Pedro Town on Wednesday, October 19th. Participants from various businesses across the island convened at the Sun Breeze conference room from 8:30AM to 11AM, where two presenters shared their extensive knowledge of digital marketing.
In order to make the conference possible, Belize Yellow Pages partnered with Google Inc. Presenters for the conference were Digital expert Gabriel Parra from Google and Mobile expert Rasheed Girvan from Global Directories. “Digital Marketing is one of the most effective means of advertising. At the conference, participants learned how to make it work for their business by increasing reach and engage existing and potential customers while maximizing returns. The Belize Yellow Pages Digital Marketing Conference provided business owners and marketing managers with international best practices, marketing strategies and tools needed to grow a business of any size,” explained Eileen Keens of the Belize Yellow Pages team.
First to present was Rasheen Girvan, who specializes in online marketing and advertising, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), web site development, outdoor advertising and digital signage and advertising. With 12 years of experience in marketing and sales management he encouraged those in attendance to develop their digital marketing strategies.
As for the second presenter, Gabriel Parra, he showcased several examples on how to maximize a business’s digital marketing plan. Parra is the Strategic Partner Manager for Google in Central America and the Caribbean.
At the end of the presentation, organizers held a question and answer segment as well as a raffle for participants.
The conference also served to promote Belize Yellow Pages. For more information on how to get an advertising consultation contact 223-9729 or via email at [email protected]
