Last night on Saturday, January 28th the Mama Vilma Committee held their second annual fashion show fund raiser. The organization of community volunteers are raising funds for the Mama Vilma’s Family Home where they hope to offer housing and support to women, families and men who are in need. 
They are committed to creating awareness of child and family abuse and the means of how to prevent it.
The event was hosted poolside at the San Pedro Family Fitness Club and was well attended. Many local boutiques provided the clothing for the fashion show and a variety of models of all ages were on hand to showcase the attire. The evening was a grand success and a complete story will be featured in the next issue of The San Pedro Sun.
