State Funeral to be held for H.E. Ambassador Alfredo Martinez

It is with profound sadness that the Government of Belize and the Martinez & Agnelli families announce the untimely passing of H.E. Ambassador Alfredo Martinez. Ambassador Martinez passed away in Guatemala City on Tuesday , 8th July 2014.He was predeceased by his parents Eduardo Martinez Sr. and Celia Ayuso de Martinez and one brother Jose Raul Martinez. He is survived by his wife Annalisa Emma Agnelli de Martinez, three sons Carlo Eduardo, Gianni Alfredo and Etienne Giordano Martinez. He is also survived by his Sister Ena Aurora Martinez, two brothers Eduardo Manuel and Jose Hamilcar Martinez, one sister-in-law Rosario Martinez; nephews Faridi Amine, Raul Edouard and Angelo Nassir Martinez, as well as Nelson Raul Ayuso. He is also survived by his uncle Uvaldemir Torres, aunts Carmita Torres and Eugenia Martinez; cousins, Alma, Rosella, Uval and Carmela Torres, Diana Turton, Yolanda Ayuso, Alfonso Ayuso, Arturo and Ninette Martinez, Enrique Tillett and Javier Martinez. A State Funeral is scheduled for Saturday, 12th July 2014 at 2 p.m. at the La Inmaculada Church in Orange Walk Town followed by interment at the Orange Walk Cemetery.
