Police Launch Quality of Life Campaign

With immediate effect, the Police Department is embarking on the Quality of Life Campaign and the public is warned that offenses such as Public Drinking, loitering, littering etc are against the law the cooperation of cyclists is especially required and are being reminded that riding up stop is an offense as well as carrying person/s on a bicycle where both can be charged. After warnings, fines will then be levied against all offenders. This will be an ongoing campaign and the police Department is asking for the public support in cooperating with the police in our effort to make our community a safer place.
