First Belize International Music and Food Festival draws the crowds to San Pedro
Over the weekend of Saturday, July 30th, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye was the epicenter of entertainment in the country after hosting one of the largest music festivals in Belize. The first edition of the Belize International Music and Food Festival held at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex-Saca Chispas brought two days packed with food and the best of Belizean and international performers to the island.

San Pedro’s first International Music and Food Festival this weekend; boat tickets deals offered
This weekend, Saturday, July 30th, and Sunday, July 31st, San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, will host the Belize International Music and Food Festival, the first of its kind. It will take place at the Honourable Louis Sylvestre Complex, Saca Chispas. The festival will include the best of Belizean and international cuisine and an impressive line-up of local and international musical artists. To make it easier for people traveling to the island from the mainland (Belize City), the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has partnered with San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi to provide discounted rates on round-trip tickets for those attending the festival.

BTB makes public call to Food Vendors to participate in the first Belize International Music and Food Festival
As part of the Belize Tourism Board’s first Belize International Music and Food Festival, the world will be treated to the very best in our gastronomical fare on the grounds of the Saca Chispas Field in San Pedro from July 30 -31, 2022. The event, which has been designed to create an immersive tourism experience through music and culture, will feature four (4) food pavilions showcasing the best of San Pedro’s island offerings, our local favorite Street Eats, a cultural promenade showcasing the diverse ethnicities that today make up Belize, as well as a gourmet pavilion highlighting dishes from our renowned restaurants and upcoming culinary chefs.

BTB Launches the first Belize International Music and Food Festival
On Monday, May 23rd, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) unveiled plans for a two-day international music and food festival, which aims to showcase local and international musical artists as well as Belize’s exceptional cuisine. The launch took place this morning at the Biltmore Plaza Hotel in Belize City and was attended by key players in the music industry, including well-known local artists and DJs.

First-ever Belize International Music and Food Festival to be held in San Pedro
The Honourable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex, known as Saca Chispas, will be the venue for the country’s first-ever ‘Belize International Music and Food Festival.’ Set for July 30th and 31st, the event will showcase different Belizean and international music genres, including Reggae, Afro beats, Dancehall, Soca, Punta, and Latin beats, performances of ten international artists, two international deejays, and a host of local artists, deejays and of course fantastic food.
