Miss San Pedro Faith Edgar hosts another successful cruise for a cause
Another islander in need benefited from the proceeds collected at the latest Cruise for a Cause held on Sunday, October 23rd, a project spearheaded by Miss San Pedro 2022-2023 Faith Edgar. The project is a monthly charitable sailing trip in partnership with X-Site Belize Sailing & Adventures to raise funds for those in need in San Pedro Town.

Miss San Pedro and Xsite Belize Sailing & Adventures hold a dollar drive for cancer patient
On Saturday, October 1st, a dollar drive was held on different streets in San Pedro Town to collect much-needed funds to help a 16-year-old islander battling cancer cover medical expenses. Miss San Pedro Faith Edgar joined the group of volunteers consisting of crew members from Xsite Belize Sailing & Adventures. From 9AM to noon, the dollar yielded over $2,700 towards the worthy cause.

San Pedranos celebrate Belize’s 41st birthday with massive parade
Revelers invaded the main streets of San Pedro Town on Wednesday, September 21st, to celebrate the nation’s 41st Independence anniversary with a massive parade that included schools, citizen marching bands, and energetic carnival dancers. The parade, said to be the longest in island history, started from Blake Street and Coconut Drive, south of downtown, and ended north at the Boca del Rio beach park.
