On Monday, January 2nd, Miss Universe Belize Ashley Lightburn, 25, departed the country to compete in the 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant. The international pageantry competition will be on January 14th in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.

On Tuesday, May 4th, San Pedranos, along with Mayor Gualberto ‘Wally’ Nuñez, honored Miss Universe Belize 2021-2022 Iris Salguero with a motorcade, giving her a home town send-off as she prepares to represent Belize in the Miss Universe Pageant on May 16th in Florida, USA. The charismatic 24-year-old left the island early on Wednesday, May 5th, for Belize City for final preparations. Belize’s beauty ambassador then leaves the country tomorrow, Thursday, May 6th.

Beautiful Destinee Arnold is making her mark in Atlanta, Georgia, USA as she prepares to compete in the 68th edition of the Miss Universe pageant to be held at the Tyler Perry Studios. The pageant, held on Sunday, December 8th, will air live at 7PM on FOX (Channel 15 on Coral Cable Vision in San Pedro).

After competing at the Bliss Center for Performing Arts in Belize City on Saturday night, September 10th, 23 year-old Rebecca Rath of Dangriga earned the grand title, and was crowned ‘Miss Belize 2016’.
