According to Conrad Olson, who is one of the organizers of Walker’s concert, once on Ambergris Caye the group gets to participate in a number of activities culminating with annual concerts at Wet Willy’s Cantina.
On Monday, January 30th, fans that were on the island for Walker’s concert got to also participate and enjoy in a “picking party” where those who are musicians performed a variety of favorite songs. Olson said that the picking party is geared to prepare the fans for the main event where they get to see Jerry Jeff Walker perform some of his best songs in a small, intimate environment.

According to Olson, the reason fans follow Walker all the way to Belize is because some of the songs performed by Walker are only sang in Belize. Jerry Jeff Walker is expected to perform to a sold-out crowd today, Tuesday January 31st and Thursday February 2nd starting at 7PM.
