Central Bank of Belize to begin charging APSSS Fees to local banks

The workshop was based on the “Operation of Sheep Farmers” Association, Registration of Certified Breeding Sheep, Traceability and Trading System. A total of 35 sheep farmers from the Cayo District attended the training.

LPG retail and wholesale prices receive modifications

The implementation of this new price regiment for the retail price of LPG is motor vehicles, households, restaurants, hotels, and a maximum wholesale price for quantities more than 300 gallons, less than 3,000 gallons and quantities more than 3,000 gallons. The price will also vary according to district and town, with transportation fees being accounted for.

SIB reports inflation rates increase; San Pedro feels it more

Figures released by SIB show that the All-Items Consumer Price Index for March 2019 stood at 104.8%, an increase of 0.3 % from 104.5% in March 2018. On average, during the month of Apirl in 2019, the prices of goods and services regularly purchased by Belizean households were 0.3% higher than they were in the same month of 2018.
