Volleyball tournament continues this weekend

The 4 x 4 Volleyball Tournament is nearing its finals after four weeks of intense matches. The games take place every Friday and Sunday at the Honorable Louis Sylvester Sporting Complex beginning at 7:30pm.
This coming weekend is bringing a busy sporting schedule with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Volleyball Tournament Month-5The first set of games scheduled for Friday, November 13th at 8PM are as follow: Survivors vs Unique follow by Blazers vs Matanes and closing the night will be Divers vs Captain Shark. The sporting action will continue on Saturday night from 8PM with the following matches: Cast Away vs Survivors, then 4play On Da Sand vs Unique and finally Divers vs SPHS. On Sunday, this time starting at 7:30PM, will see Island Boys vs Bombas, followed by 4Play On Da Sand vs Cast Away and ending the weekend of sports will be SPHS vs Matanes.Volleyball Tournament Month-1
Presently, in the Junior division, Bombas are in the lead with 9 points, while in the Female category Unique Girls are at the top with 9 points as well. Meanwhile in the Male division, Blazers are way ahead of the rest of the teams in that category with 9 points as well. However, the teams will be playing a second round of action and the team with the most points within the three divisions will head to the finals. The result of the games this weekend will be crucial for the advancement of the teams to the next round.

The sporting event is being organized by The San Pedro Sports Committee and sponsored by The San Pedro Town Council and the Honorable Manuel Heredia Jr. At the end of the competition, winning teams will walk away with trophies and cash prizes.
Organizers invite everyone to come out every weekend during the tournament to support their favorite teams. There’s lots of food and drinks for sale during the games, and entrance is free.
