Annual Groundhog Day Charity Poker Run
The Palapa Bar and Grill kicked off the first day of February with their annual charity poker run. This was the biggest since its inception, with 200 poker hands played. The event started at 10:30am when players were invited to buy their place in the game.

Palapa Bar and Grill hosts final Jerry Jeff Walker concert in Belize
After more than 20 years in San Pedro, renowned musician and icon, Jerry Jeff Walker played his final concert at Palapa Bar and Grill on Friday, January 31st. Palapa closed its doors at 7pm for the private concert, which ended promptly at 9pm. The space was packed with excited fans who enjoyed every moment of Walker’s performance.

The charity event is organized to assist the non-government school with its costs of operation and their Special Needs Program. The dinner gala included generous donations by local restaurants, several items up for auction and raffle along with live music.
