The Government of the United Kingdom, through the British Army Training Support Unit (BATSUB), has pledged its continued support to the security forces of Belize.

This support includes the provision of BATSUB’s barracks accommodation, laundry services, and exclusive access to their recreational area. Security forces personnel are also able to purchase groceries from the San Cas Store at Price Barracks. Additionally, a donation of 1,000 packs of 24-hour rations was handed over for distribution to the Belize Defence Force and the Belize Coast Guard.

BATSUB has also pledged to assist with combat medics to the Force Medical Center and to assist with drivers and troop-carrying vehicles should the need arise.

The Government and people of Belize thank the Government of the United Kingdom and BATSUB for their continued support to fostering a stronger partnership and for their stellar work during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
