Hope Haven’s women’s skills training on manicure and pedicure graduates 30 participants
On Friday, October 13th, a graduation ceremony was held at the Sunbreeze Hotel conference room where 30 women were recognized for completing a manicure and pedicure training facilitated by non-profit organization Hope Haven Children’s Home and Empowerment Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Taiwan Technical Mission in Belize. The training also helped the participants with marketing skills, budgeting, work ethics, and the best strategies for starting and managing a business establishment.

Hope Haven Women Skills Training on manicure and pedicure launched
On Monday, September 4th, opening ceremonies were held at the Sunbreeze Hotel for a four-week manicure and pedicure training that will benefit 30 women. The project will also aid the young ladies with marketing skills, work ethics, budgeting, and how to start and manage a business.

Stakeholders discuss North Ambergris Caye development
On Tuesday, June 13th, a group of stakeholders met with local authorities at the Sunbreeze Hotel conference room to discuss the future infrastructure of the island and the improvement of services. The meeting provided important feedback, which will be used to create a better development plan for areas like northern Ambergris Caye, which continues to develop at a fast pace.

ARACT hosts workshop for island air conditioning and refrigeration technicians
For three days from Monday, March 6th, 50 island heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians participated in a refresher training organized by the Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians (ARACT). The three-day workshop was held in the Sunbreeze Hotel conference room. The technicians participating were tested, introduced to upgraded equipment and new refrigerants, and informed of the consequences if caught working without a license.

In order to facilitate heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians who need to be licensed for 2020, the Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians (ARACT) of Belize hosted a four-day training workshop in San Pedro Town.

Help Heal Humanity hosts innovative education session in San Pedro Town
The session aimed to introduce local educators to the project, leading them to seek advanced methodology and subsequently be trained to implement it in their schools. They were further encouraged to engage with potential investors and local community leaders about creating the first local Technology and Science Hub of Research and Development here in Belize.
