Jasmine Hartin returns to court to face drug possession and common assault charges

Canadian national Jasmine Hartin was back at the San Pedro Magistrate Court on Thursday, January 26th, to answer charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Common Assault. The court session involved presentations by Hartin's legal team on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug after the Common Assault case was adjourned to March 8th. The presentations and submissions by Hartin's attorney Ronell Gonzalez regarding the drug charge, attempted to dispute the evidence from the prosecution. The session spanned for almost two hours before the matter was adjourned to March 15th by the Magistrate.

Jasmine Hartin’s Manslaughter by Negligence case moves to Supreme Court

Jasmine Hartin was at the San Pedro Magistrate Court on Thursday, March 31st, for a preliminary inquiry of the Manslaughter by Negligence charge against her for the shooting death of police superintendent Henry Jemmott. The PI session inside the courtroom included an overview of the evidence tying Hartin to the incident. A trial will now take place, and Hartin was ordered to present herself at the opening of the next session of the Supreme Court in Belize City on June 13, 2022.

Back at the Magistrate Court: Jasmine Hartin trials adjourned

Jasmine Hartin was back at the San Pedro Magistrate Court on Tuesday, October 5th, for disclosure on her charge of Manslaughter by Negligence in the shooting death of Superintendent Henry Jemmott. This matter was adjourned to December 9, 2021. Hartin was also provided with disclosure on two additional charges, Possession of a Control Drug and Common Assault. She will return to court regarding these two charges on February 16, 2022.

Jasmine Hartin’s trial dates adjourned to October 5th

Jasmine Hartin was scheduled to return tomorrow for her Manslaughter by Negligence charge over the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

Jasmine Hartin granted bail for Common Assault charge; remanded after Supreme Court bail revoked

For a second time, Canadian national 32-year-old Jasmine Hartin was escorted by San Pedro Police after arraigned at the San Pedro Magistrate Court. This time it was not for the Manslaughter by Negligence charge she received on June 1st for the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott, but for Common Assault. She was granted a $1,000 bail plus one surety of the same but was yet a free woman. The same day Hartin was promptly taken to the Supreme Court in Belize City, where her $30,000 bail for the Manslaughter by Negligence charge was revoked. If she cannot secure another bail bond, she will remain at the Kolbe Foundation-Central Prison in Hattieville until tried.
