BTL donates $10,000 to help children affected by fire

With many families being displaced after the June 27th fire, many organizations and kind-hearted people have rendered assistance to the victims. On Thursday, July 21st, Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL), in collaboration with the Belize Red Cross and The Angelus Press Limited, made a monetary donation of $10,000 to facilitate school supplies to help the school children affected by the fire. BTL’s Chairman of the Executive Committee, Anwar Barrow, presented the check in a handing-over ceremony accompanied by Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Director General of the Belize Red Cross, Lily Bowman, and John Gillet of The Angelus Press Limited.
With this donation, children affected by the fire will be able to get all necessary materials needed for the upcoming school year.
