The National Queen of the Bay Committee is excited to announce its annual pageant. After careful consideration, Nia Figueroa was chosen to represent the island of Ambergris Caye in the upcoming National Queen of the Bay Pageant. The pageant is on Sunday, August 24, 2024, at 7PM at the Belize Civic Center in Belize City. Nia will embody the island's spirit, elegance, and sophistication this year as she represents San Pedro in the 2024-2025 Queen of the Bay Pageant.

Talea Harmouch crowned Miss ACES 2024
The Miss ACES 2024 pageant, a significant event in the Ambergris Caye Elementary School (ACES) community, occurred on Tuesday, June 24th, at 6PM at the Sage Brush Church in Ambergris Caye. This event, organized to raise funds for the upcoming school semester, saw five talented candidates, Ariana Acosta, Mikeyla White, Sila El Kerdy, Talea Harmouch, and Jayda Figueroa, compete for the crown. At the night's end, Talea Harmouch, with grace and poise, emerged as the shining star, winning the prestigious title of Miss ACES 2024.

Miss San Pedro Lions 2024-2025 Karissa Vasquez was crowned on Thursday, April 18th. In a brief session held at their Lions Den on Barrier Reef Drive, Vasquez gracefully accepted the crown from outgoing queen Krystal Navarrete.

Halima Hoy is the new Miss Universe Belize; Ambergris Caye was well represented
29-year-old Halima Hoy won the Miss Universe Belize 2024-2025 title on Saturday, April 13th, at the pageant held in Belize City. The event occurred at the Belize City Civic Center, where ten contestants competed for the prestigious title. Among the contestants was San Pedro’s Vivian Noralez, who proudly represented La Isla Bonita.

San Pedro's entrepreneur, Vivian Noralez, left her island home on Sunday, April 7th, to compete in the national Miss Universe Belize Pageant in Belize City. The event, featuring ten contestants, takes place on Saturday, April 13th, at the Belize City Civic Centre, starting at 8 PM. The other contestants include Maryam Abdul-Qawiyy, Jasmin Rhamdas, Maya-Lis Wright, Monillee Aspinall, Shaenna Gilharry, Hailma Hoy, Fany Mejia, Myra Sibrain, and Mikayla Gongora.
